how can i learn functional design?

i wanna learn functional design in inventor as a strong mechanical design tool.but i couldn't find any good source for that.can you help me?

I'd start with the built in tutorials. They should lay a solid foundation. Also, there are several companies offering training onsite or online including Imagineit and several others.

i'd start with software's tutorials too but that's not enough at all and i have no access to that companies.i was just looking for sth like an e-book or free website.
can you explain more and introduce me that companies that offering online training?

Try the cadalyst website because they have a-z everything about Inventor.
